Sophos Antivirus For Mac Home Edition
Generally you should use the removal program that comes with the main program to uninstall it, see Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac: How to uninstall for instructions. Having tried the regular uninstaller or if you deleted built-in removal program, this article provides a standalone tool to remove the installed Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac. In this removal guide we discuss two feasible solutions to help you uninstall Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac. You can either follow the regular, manual steps to delete Sophos Anti-Virus and all its traces, or directly run an automated tool to deal with this task. For multiple Mac based systems, there is an option to remove the program remotely via Terminal access. Locate the uninstaller. Uninstall using local removal tool. This is located in the Applications folder. On the keyboard, press Cmd (⌘) + Spacebar to open a Spotlight search then type Remove Sophos. If the program exists or has not been moved to Trash, Spotlight will find it. Uninstall using the Removal tools for Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac. Enter the password. This is the same password entered to install the program or any program that needs to install rather than be dragged to the Applications folder. Open the Finder and navigate to the folder Library > Sophos Anti-Virus. Double-click on the file Remove Sophos Anti-Virus.pkg Result: The Install Sophos Anti-Virus Removal wizard opens. Click Continue.
